Obviously, I love Queens. And like I have said before, it’s why I started Queensbound. In my head, I had originally envisioned my t-shirt line as a luxury graphic tee line for women that would offer ultra-luxurious super-duper soft shirts. Those are the type of shirts I want to have for myself. I began to research and plan for manufacturing my own t-shirts because there weren’t any shirts out there that fit my requirement. So while planning, I started testing my designs on basic American Apparel t-shirts. People were loving them just that way so I began to sell them to friends and family at a very affordable rate. I even carved some designs for men. I figured “oh, what the hell, I’ll just sell them this way.”
And of course, as soon as I come to terms with offering these type of graphic t-shirts for men and women, I found a company that makes the EXACT TYPE of shirt I want, super soft t-shirts with a perfect fit. What a conundrum! So with the help of my wonderful husband, I’ve decided to offer two collections: the Queensbound Collection that offers Queens-centric affordable graphic tees for men and women, and the Ciara Elend Collection that offers ultra-comfy, ultra-stylish graphic tees for women. You’ll soon start seeing my new shirts on this blog.
